Sultan Minerals Doubles Size of Gold Mountain Zone Soil Anomaly - Kena Property Update

 Gold Mountain Zone-Geochemistry
Sultan Minerals Inc. (SUL-cdnx) is pleased to announce that it has now received gold soil geochemical analyses from a 1.2 kilometres north by 600 metres west extension to the Gold Mountain Zone of the Company's Kena Property, located north of Ymir in southeastern British Columbia.

Soil sampling on the Gold Mountain Grid previously defined highly anomalous gold values in soil samples from grid line 0+00N to 21+00N: a distance of 2.1 kilometres. Recent sampling has extended this anomaly to 33+00N for a total length of 3.3 kilometres. The core of the coincident geochemical and geophysical anomaly on the Gold Mountain Grid previously showed an average width of 700 metres. Soil sampling along strike to the north shows the gold soil anomaly to double in width to 1,400 metres toward the north end of the grid (see attached map). The soil anomaly extends across the recently acquired Great Western Claim Group to the northwest and remains open to the south. Infill soil sample results are still pending.

Gold Mountain Zone-Geophysics
Peter E. Walcott and Associates has been contracted to complete 15.0 line kilometres of induced polarization surveying over this new geochemical extension to the Gold Mountain Zone. The geophysical survey is expected to be completed and the results available in two weeks. Diamond drill results suggest that gold enrichment is seen where high gold soil values coincide with high IP chargeability and high IP resistivity anomalies.

Soil sampling has also been completed over the southern extent of the favourable Silver King intrusive host unit for a distance of 14.0 kilometres. Soil sample results from this large regional grid are expected by mid November.

Gold Mountain Zone-Drilling
To date, 22 drill holes have been completed on the Gold Mountain Zone, with assay results pending for the last 11 holes. An additional 11 holes are permitted for this phase of drilling which is anticipated to be completed by year-end. Permitting is underway for an expanded drill program to cover the recently identified north and west extension of the Gold Mountain Zone, and to conduct infill drilling around all higher grade gold intercepts discovered during the current program.
