| Sultan Minerals Inc. (SUL-cdnx) is pleased to announce that it has resumed diamond drilling on its Kena Gold Property. This second phase of drilling will involve 500 metres of NQ diamond drilling in three holes and will be step outs of up to 300 metres away from the initial drill holes reported in the news release of June 26, 2001. Hole locations have been determined by geological and geophysical studies and will test the Gold Mountain Zone mineralization along strike and to depth. A.G. Troup, P.
